  1. I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! If you look at our other cup team and our 16-17 cup teams we had young, fast guys that came into our line up at the right time in the playoffs. I think IF we are to move 1st round picks we should trade 1st rounders in the future when Sid and Geno are retired. 2027,28, 29, etc. first rounders (if that’s realistic for other GMs idk). Everyone throws around “retool on the fly”. In 3 years our 2023 draft pick will make an impact as Sid and Geno are filling their AARP cards. As long as our big 3 are in the lineup we have a chance for the cup. I think our cup window is for the next 4-5 years.

  2. IMO the correct answer isn't yes or no to trading the pick. The answer is if the right trade is available than the pick should be in play. You shouldn't just trade the pick to trade it. If someone wants to give you zach aston rease for the 1st then you don't trade it.
