Seeing message boards around the country and Canada there are many that despise the Hawks and their #1 pick!
In todays hockey and the more open game that exists today unlike the brutal heavy hitting 70's and 80's and the clutch and grab hard hitting 90's he will be a stud with the way the stars of the game are more protected with todays new rules that were put in place several years ago. GO HAWKS !!!!!!! Lindros was mentioned here his career was cut short on a open ice hit when the rules did not protect the stars like they do today. Even Toews and Hossa almost had career ending open ice hits but since those days the game has changed its faster and safer for all players.
