When I watched that 2018 series against my Pens I thought I was watching two teams heading in opposite directions: a Pens team and potential dynasty that had just about peaked against an up and coming Flyers squad with Giroux still producing at a high level, Couturier a legit annual threat for the Selke and a hoard of first round prospects steadily making their way onto the roster – not to mention Carter Hart about to make his debut and finally put an end to the Flyers goalie graveyard.

Not trying to be a dramatic Philly fan but I really hope Flyers fans are capable of seeing and understanding that the Flyers are legitimately one of the worst franchises amongst all the 4 major North American leagues. They're run like a European soccer team doing anything to not be relegated, they have no vision or plan that's building towards a Stanley Cup championship. Dave Scott, Valerie Camillo, Chuck Fletcher and all of the Flyers alumni need to be permanently removed from anything that has to do with running the front office of the Philadelphia Flyers.
