I legit love Haula. Quiet this series but so was a lot of the team.
No question in my mind that Haula should be back as 3C next season.
We’d love to have you, so we just need Fitzy to get a deal done asap!

I like Haula alot. Wasn’t impressed with him early on. Seemed like another blackhole on offense but he turned it on late in the year and he’s good defensively. Seems like a good locker room guy too.
Also, they booed the shit out of him every time he was on the ice tonight.

Between him or Tatar I’d much rather have Haula as a vet presence, middle 6 guy.
Unfortunately can’t be a big deal imo, 2-3 years at 3 million-ish.
Depending on how much Timo and Bratt resign for, and yes I know some of you are pissed at Bratt, but either way some interesting options in FA to replace Tatar. Don’t overpay for anyone though we are a playoff team now they have to wanna be here.
Started the season absolutely hating Haula. Now I can’t imagine next year without him. He’s a playoff performer and we need him back bad.
From a canes fan, your fans were extremely respectful and friendly at every game. Very different from any of the other northern teams like the Rags. Y’all have a young team and much to look forward to!
I want haula to sign cheap for a few years. I think he will too.
I think he’ll take a 2-year $5 mil contract with a no-move clause. Tatar should be brought back also for 2-years.

The Haula Redemption Tour in the playoffs was something.
I don’t know if he had a single fan in this sub throughout his regular season, and we mostly all complained that he was stapled to Jack, but it really seemed like Jack thrived with him and wanted him there.
I remember the Toronto game where the fans started throwing shit on the ice – Haula skated out to center and was pleading with the fans to stop. It was just interesting to see a player interacting with the fans in that way.
And then he came alive in the playoffs. And now he’s saying he wants to come back. It’s hard to not root for the guy.
Plus, he’s part of the “x6” jersey squad. Where else are we going to find a new 56?
I remember when Amanda wrote how Haula wasn’t happy with the Devils practices..saying it wasn’t good enough…the man earned his spot right there..sure didn’t put up the points he’s used to..looked snake bitten..but, he was absolutely right..before the season he was adamant about the playoffs and did his job..I’d love to see him back
