Habs have Nick Bobrov as our scout manager. Bobrov is born in Stalingrad (now called St-Petersburg) there’s a rumour saying that his cousin, or best friend is running the SKA of St-Petersburg where Michkov plays.
Bobrov, have been scout manager over there for three years. Also, his father have been coach and scout for the ska for over 10 years.
Now tell me that Bobrov is not well placed to convince the St-Petersburg Ska to release Michkov. And that reporter in insinuating that they will blackmail the kid? Maybe if the Coyotes draft him, not the Habs.

With the talent that the Habs have coming, it is worth the risk. Habs fans have their ear to the round like no other fans in the NHL. Many of us are saying that Michkov is worth the risk. If he is available take him. If the Russians are letting him attend the draft…well that means something. Doesn't it?
