I wish I could understand why I hate the Canes so much. Perhaps because I live in CT (although not originally from here). Just can’t find anyone to root for, except maybe a little for Rod since he’s a Flyer alum.
The good news is usually the team I don’t want to win the Cup wins…

We did not hit the mark this series against the Canes, but I’m not salty. Canes were the better team, and any Devils fan who doesn’t think that is coping real hard. Still would rather an eastern team win, regardless if they beat us to get there. So I’m rooting for the Canes when they get to the finals

When Tampa came into existence as a team, I dont get how they were allowed to choose those colours and strike package that were so similar to an existing team. Is there not a range of colour schemes that teams “own” to the point that other teams (existing or new) cannot use?

As a Floridian, I expect the Hurricane to bend away from the center and move to the Northeast. A lefthand turn to the Cup would look unnatural.
Using meteorology, I predict Panthers & Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals.
(Of course, predicting anything beyond 3–5 days is a crap shoot.)
