  1. I mean the announcers right..you gotta push back a little bit and not let guys board your star defenseman

  2. Ritchie is actually a physical monster he just rarely shows it. Bad hit tho hope dahlin is fine

  3. Ritchie is a dirty scumbag. Constantly hitting from behind. He’s got the Boston style of play down, play dirty and let the refs hold your hand as you do it

  4. Remember when Don Cherry was giving crap to the leafs for selecting Nylander over Ritchie because Nick is Canadian and a physical winger.

  5. I mean, Dahlin literally turns before Ritchie hits him. The slowmo doesn't do that play justice

  6. Already engaged with another player, then Ritchie comes in on the blindside and catches him from behind. Pretty cheap dumb hit and a sad response from the sabres teammates.

  7. why don't they ever call check from behind? i think that's more applicable than boarding here..

  8. Unnecessary hit. Dahlin shouldnt of turned but Ritchie needs to avoid contact there.

  9. Good to see the bruins playing a heavier brand of hockey. It’s who they’ve always been and who the need to be to go far in the playoffs. When people are talking about Bruins playing on the edge or bitching about hits that’s when the Bs are at their best

  10. imagine if the Boston goof was announcing this, he would be complaining that it was 100% clean

  11. I swear the sabres need to pick up a Ryan reaves or Matt Martin type character in the off season. Team has zero Fuckin heart. I feel for ya buffalo fans

  12. You know, I'm usually pretty quick to jump down Boston's throats for being dirty (mostly Marchand, but it gets around)… But on this one, to be honest, I don't see the intent. He definitely did do it, and deserved the penalty, but even though he could have done more to avoid this, I don't think he was trying to injure or anything, and in fact, you can kind of see him reaching down towards Dahlin to perhaps apologize or explain he didn't mean to. Hockey happens very fast and even as an anti-Bruins guy, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
