It would be immensely depressing if – and this is a BIG if – Toronto gets through and plays Carolina and Anderson stumps TO through that series….. Sigh
The fact that Parros hasn't been fired should be the end of Betteman's career. The job that Parros has done has been completely unacceptable for a league that tries to call itself professional.

Nobody is willing to pay $1 Billion for the Ottawa Senators unless there's a solid, foolproof plan to move the team very soon to a large US market like Houston or San Diego.

Nobody thought the NHL would get it right to begin with and once again they show how completely inept they are at managing their own league. Nurse gets one game for engaging in a fight that both parties had agreed upon at the prior faceoff (confirmed by the Vegas captain himself). Fighting an accepted part of the game.
Pet gets the same punishment for trying to hack a guys arm off with a double handed over head swing of the stick. How does Parros still have a job after how badly he has messed up so many things. Also whether or not Drai was injured should have absolutely no effect on the suspension. The DoPS's job is protect the players from getting injured, not hand out suspensions after they get injured.
Its ok to take those shots as long as its not a superstar huh?
