There’s never a dull day when it comes to the Pittsburgh Penguins. There are ALWAYS things to discuss and Hunter starts the show by going over Ryan Poehling’s season in review. He looks at both eh positives and negatives for this game and why at times, he couldn’t put it together since he was a bit banged up. That said, Hunter did like his game when he was in the lineup and brings up the stats to support his evidence as to why he would bring him back on a cheap contract. Hunter also discusses what position he should play to start the season and it may be a surprise to some of you. After that, he analyzes a potential Jason Zucker replacement if the team cannot come to terms with him on a new contract. It’s one that fans may like a bit more since he has been linked to them several times over the past couple of seasons. Finally, Hunter looks into what Frank Seravalli had to say about Mike Sullivan on Thursday with more details about why he won’t be fired and also discusses what to look for from the Penguins who are at the World Championships.

Cheap 4th liner. Carter in press box( emergency play) only ! Bring the kids up for bottom six!
To answer the title: Hell yes!
I do like Garland honestly
If he's coming back, he needs more O-zone starts. 25.9% again is not gonna help him produce.
Throw him in the top 6 when one of their wingers is sucking. At worst he'll help them defensively at least.
He's got back problems. Wasn't healthy the year before either. Not expecting more than 60 games out of him.
Poehling on a 1 or 2 yr $850,000. Make him the 4th line center, unfortunately carter will be 4rw so get a gritty/nasty defensive 4lw to play with them and that will help make up for carters lack of defense, speed, hustle. I'll say it again, I do not want DOC on the 4th line with carter. He did well this year propping carter up at the end of the season but then he will be cast into a defense first role. Then people will say he doesn't produce enough and he's inconsistent. Give DOC 3rd line minutes with a good center and let him focus more on the offensive side of things.
Hunter, do you see a way that dubas comes over as gm, sully stays as head coach and keffe comes on board as an assistant coach maybe replacing velluci? I'm ok with sully staying as long as he is supported by the gm.
Love the Connor Garland idea. I would have loved Taylor Hall 2-3 years ago. At this point, he's a prime candidate to fall off a cliff in production in a year or two. I would love to see Zucker back, but I'm afraid that he is in the same boat as Hall. If Bertuzzi could be had for around $6-6.5 mil per year and you can move out Granlund's cap blunder, that would be a home run swing. What about Michael Bunting? Sure, he had a great year last year, but he only made $950K, what's your take?
Poehling is kind of a fringe player honestly. Yeah he should be given a chance, but I don't think he's earned a guaranteed lineup spot. If someone outplays him in camp and the preseason games then it should be them instead of him.
Thanks again for your vids man. Us pens fans appreciate you
