    Never look over a smaller player that is considered to get drafted in the top 5. For them to even be in the talks means they have extremely high talent. *Cauf Cauf*

    Could anyone familiar with the WHL compare him to Andrew Cristall? He has similar stats on a weaker team.

    I struggle to see a scenario where hes picked.

    If carlsson or smith are there they are the obvious picks.

    If small winger is an option than michkov is just aggressively more talented (and slightly bigger) benson.

    If it needs tp be a centre most scouts agree benson wont be playing centre in the nhl

    If its size there are bigger options.

    Every scenario has a better pick option

    I recommend everyone watch Benson themselves in the WHL finals and then make an opinion.

    Both Seattle and Winnipeg are stacked with NHL 1st rounders and World Junior gold medalists. Grayson Sawchyn plays for Seattle. Sportsnet projects him as a late 1st round pick. Habs draft pick Jarred Davidson plays for Seattle. Possible pick Thomas Milic also plays for them. Maybe Habs take a flyer on the guy that has been passed up 2x in the draft but now has a Gold Medal and Goaltender of the Year
