I just don’t understand why the caps traded Vrana for a guy who has no drive and is honestly worse. The draft picks and Panik were just beating a dead horse at that point.
It’s like the caps want to make it as painful as physically possible to be fans of them, they just keep trading away up and coming players right before they break out. Filip Forsberg, Burakovsky and now Vrana, a guy who not only was a huge part to them winning a Stanley, but also a fan favorite.
This has been one of the most painful days to be a caps fan in a long time. I hope Jake the Snake blossoms into the superstar he could’ve been here if he had half decent coaching.
