Commesso. The Oilers turnaround took a decade+ so it's too early to think anything will change
BLACKHAWKS NEED FIX DEFENSE before Goaltending once Defense is ready then we will know which Goalie is right for the team
I want to see Drew Commesso! As I did watch Arvid Soderblom closely in the AHL Play-Offs against the Texas Stars. He had a strong start this season. And did look good in his first few NHL starts this year. The later games with Soderblom in the NHL not so much. And like Stalock & Mrazek,that job was extremely tough at times. I do believe Soderblom had a decent AHL season. And Stauber needs to be commended on some real decent NHL starts as well,nice! But yes, Soderblom was soundly and consistently outplayed by Matt Murray(the other Matt Murray with the same name) for sure. But closer look what I see,Soderblom the widest Goalie stance I have ever seen,not the best lateral movement,not great when I have seen him play at stopping 2 on 1's,real good at Scums and chances very close to his crease. But yes,Soderblom does deserve a real chance at this.And with the Contract they have given him that much. I watched Commesso on BU, last couple years and Prospect Camp,very excited see more of him! And also,Stauber on Rockford,and need to mention Mitchell Weeks who was very competitive with everyone at Prospect Camp, Training Camp, and his time with Rockford,and Indy Fuel…
Blackhawks could use a good center 🙄
