The major takeaway? The Rangers should have won against the Devils in the first round. They were there for the taking after the first 2 games.
New Jersey lost 7 games in total over 2 rounds and only one of those defeats was close, i.e. yesterday's game.
Oh wait! You were talking about the whole "season". My bad!
They had a great season overall. I will concede that without hesitation.
But I am a Rangers fan, so you will understand my frustration. đ
The major takeaway is they overachieved , beat the Rangers and wasted their opportunity. No Boston, Tampa or Colorado

Devils l have 3-4coming up from ahl sliding right in, they could resign the whole team and make it work , they could move out the RFAs and create whatever they want around the core.
