    Why do i have to be so stubborn and keep rooting for this team seriously? I cant root for another team because ive rooted for Toronto all my life and it wouldn't feel the same towards the other team. We're stuck with this it's literally an abusive relationship! This team just hurts us time and time again yet we keep coming back to them time and time again! When are they gonna stop wasting our time?

    Jt isn't a winner and isn't an leader, I actually enjoy watching the leafs with a stacked team lose every year but hey at least it was the second round this year

    Imagine shaking hands with that loser of a squad. I best first thing coach did was to tell his players to quickly wash it off and use antibacterial soap. Don't wanna be contracting loser syndrome after that.

    absolutely pathetic. 7 years and 1 series win (a series that they were outplayed almost every game). Complete joke of a team.

    Just remembe kids, its okay to chokeslam players, crosscheck their necks, their lower spines while they're down, charge them for late hits, and punch players on the ice while they're down. Florida did all of this and guess what all of this dirty play got them? 0 penalties in total, and a $5,000 fine. This league is an absolute joke, and im done with this sport for good.

    After the rule changes to speed up MLB games, thats my sport from now on.

    So lets summarize a few things:

    1) Michael Bunting high sticked and BLEEDING – only a 2 minute penalty

    2) Matthew Knies injured by a Florida goon. No penalty. Knies knocked out of the series.

    3) David Kampf was hit by Gudas like a freight train and send flying through the stands after the whistle. No penalty. Kampf gone to the dressing room.

    4) Game #3 reffed by Wes MacAuley of all people, Leafs do not get a single power play.

    5) Game #5 a power play is handed to Florida in OVERTIME of a series deciding game.

    6) Game #5 An icing called against Toronto on a puck played by Bobrovsky.

    7) And in Game #5 the mother of them all, which ultimately did decided the series as the game would not have gone to OT was Morgan Reilly's goal that was deemed not to be a goal. The Refs cited Rule 78. Play blown dead. HOW? WHY? Si if a player takes a shot from the blue line and scores can the refs now say, Oh yeah but we INTENDED to blow the whistle – Soooooo NO GOAL FOR YOU! What BS is that? I saw one camera angle which definitively did show that that puck had in fact crossed the line. It was a goal. The camera shot was to the right of Bob's pad. Since its all one continuous play there was no need to blow the whistle or justification to intend to blow the whistle.

    Even if Toronto had one Game 5, Florida was still the odds on favorite to win the series as they would be up 3-2 but holy crow it seemed very clear that there was a bias against the Leafs which played a part as to why they lost the series. All for losses were by just one goal. YES including Game #1 where Florida was about to win 3-2 with 5 seconds left.

    Mathews and Marner should both be traded. neither live up to their 10 million+ salary in the playoffs. the team must get rid of these two to begin a rebuild . Its their only way since they have no draft picks. or cap space from acquiring players who under performed in the playoffs. After that Dufas and No Shanaplan should be next out the door for implementing this mess
