Steve I feel your pain buddy, I’m a Ranger fan since 1965 and I have one Cup. Going deep in the playoffs is nice, it winning the Cup is the icing on the cake. I’ve shied more tears then jeers for my team, buddy I feel your pain.

As a Panthers fan, I was honestly scared of facing the Leafs, cos after the trade deadline pickups and that impressive 6-2 win in the regular season in Sunrise, I said ‘Oh no, these guys can also play shut down defense’ I equate this Leafs season to the Panthers 21-22 season. (Even though the Leafs did not win the Presidents’ Trophy) but we went through similar on the few times we made the playoffs, we couldn’t get past the first round. A lot of the wins against the Capitals last year were come back from behind and our 2nd round clincher was also an OT goal, and then we all know what happened when they faced the Lightning. Change is tough and trading a franchise player in Jonathan Huberdeau and getting rid of Jack Adams’ nominee in Andrew Brunette was not easy, the point that I am getting at is, I think this may be the most important off-season for the Leafs in some time, because yes change is imminent, but if done right and the Leafs make the playoffs again next season, Dangle may be saying ‘LEAFS WIN!!!’ A LOT…. Hang in there Leafs fans, nothing bad lasts forever.
Ive said it before and ill say it again. How many more chances can you give this core? Yes they won a series, but this team was supposed to make a deep run, the path to the conference finals was laid out for them and they failed.
Even worse is that the "Core 4" didnt really step up in the way they were supposed to. I think this is it. I think even with the series win, falling apart against a 17th overall Florida team may be the final nail in the coffin for this core.
No Bruins. This should have been the Leafs year, but unless Edmonton wins the Stanley Cup ( still need to get by Vegas and down 3-2), it will be 30 years with no Stanley Cup. This is one reason why Canada is losing the game to the US
As a Canes fan, I was rooting for y'all. I was hoping we would be the ones to break your heart because I prefer the leafs style of play to Florida's (and I would have loved to see the David Ayers memes return). Leafs have never won more than a 2nd round playoff series (ever, in the history of the team) while you've had a playoff beard. Maybe that is why they keep losing.
And yes, the schadenfreude is real and I can't wait for the game highlight video to go live as watching them make it easy to get through a workout on the elliptical. Tine just flies by.

why do i feel like i just attended a funeral , that was some eulogy , Murray WILL be gone , Keefe WILL be gone , Holl WILL be gone , and the future looks very bright in goal lots to look forward to , but my biggest DISAPPOINTMENT is MATHEWS , they have to trade him , they cannot afford to resign him i prefer the term RETOOL OVER REBUILD RIP OFF THE BANDADE !!!!!

Dangle lost significant credibility when he said Marner had one of the best games of his life last game. Marner was dogshit this series, and was only a little less dogshit in game 4. Marner was plain awful in game 5, the most important game of his nhl career.
