Episode #062
Luke Kerr-Dineen – How media has changed in 20 years, the best thing you can do to improve your communication, Does he have the best job in golf?
Luke Kerr-Dineen (T: @LukeKerrDineen, IG: @lkerrdineen, FB: @LKDGolf) is the Content Editor for GOLF Magazine and GOLF.com (T: GOLF_com, IG: @golf_com, FB: @golf). An accomplished player in his younger days he soon realized the professional game wasn’t his calling which led him down the path of journalism. This allowed him to scratch his curiosity itch and once he combined his writing skill with his golf knowledge he hasn’t looked back.
Luke creates content, meaning he writes articles on topics such as coaching, equipment, and training golfers and gets to talk to the best players in the world, their coaches, equipment companies and trainers on a regular basis. Along the way he probably gets a tip or two about his own game and gets to play with new equipment before anyone else even hears about it. Be sure to check out his articles at GOLF.com and definitely check out a show he was instrumental in putting together called ‘Pro’s Teaching Joe’s’ where professional golfers from all tours teach average Joe’s (usually GOLF.com staff) how to improve their game.

What is The Golf Paradigm (Pair-a-dime)?
The Golf Paradigm is a theory that encompasses a Whole-In-One approach to improvement. It begins with the overall paradigm; i.e. the game of golf. Followed by two parts that are always to remain in balance; i.e. the golf yin/yang – ‘improving’ and ‘enjoyment’. Helping to maintain that balance are the 5 elements of the game; the swing, club fitting, health/fitness, mental, and integration. Knowing which area to focus on and how the other areas supplement that helps to form the golfers ‘recipe’ for improvement. As the golfer improves their recipe, or what is focused on, changes and this is what allows them to reach levels of play they never thought possible. It’s not magical, but it’s close.
