  1. I agree with Lappy. We need speed at wing and another certified faceoff man in the middle. With coots and Cam back this is not a bad team

  2. Ok…is there any concern about 2 more ex-Flyers (none of whom have high-level managerial experience overseeing a hockey franchise) being added to that area shielded from criticism…the Front Office? This sanctuary is now a haven for several ex-Flyers who have no business being there, nor did they earn the right to be there.

This is so typical of the Flyers to do this (they've been doing it over the past 30+ years).

I don't care how long it would have taken: I would have scoured the Front office of teams such as the Bruins, Avalanche, Panthers, and Canes to find top-level talent that could elevate this Franchise to an ELITE team…not just a team content with mediocrity.

Just want to see if Jonesy has the stones to fire the 3 Kings…who are to blame for most of the problems with this club. Briere will soon find out he may not have much of a 'say' or input in who to select in the upcoming draft (another 'project' player who won't be anywhere near NHL-Ready, and will be on the '5-Year' Plan), as long as those 3 bastions of hockey talent are still allowed to wander the halls of the Front Office.

Don't be fooled by these moves. This team is in trouble, and will be for many more years to come, unless Real Change happens.

This club is chasing 'fool's gold', and sadly, they don't see it.

  3. Go Flyers… I like Lappy in the Organization. I like the element of humbleness..that is important quality in terms of leadership and teamwork.
