And to think that this is what caused the Blues to start cheating their way to the Stanley Cup Final! What a shame! If only the could've handled this ass-kicking with grace instead of deciding to pay off the refs and the league the rest of the way because they knew that they couldn't win otherwise, which they're STILL unfortunately doing even now! Oh well- they've got a massive investigation going on right now, and once it's finished, the Blues will be the first team in NHL history to have their names stripped off of the Cup, as they didn't actually "win" it! What a day that'll be! Talk about sore losers! Luckily for the rest of us, their cheating ways will be over with soon, and the hockey world will be back to normal once it is! Thank goodness for investigations like the ones that will be exposing the St. Louis Cheaters as well as the one that exposed the Houston Astros for sign stealing!
I was at that game. I've never seen anything like that and my dad and I both were wanting him to get six to tie the record.
And to think- this little event is what caused the Blues to start cheating their way to the postseason, as well as the Stanley Cup- which they only "won" by cheating! What an embarrassment they are! Thank goodness there's an investigation that has confirmed that they cheated, because now they can be punished like they should've been from day 1!

I think if laine was in matthews place on the leafs and with marner on his wing, laine would be a 60 goal scorer. He hit 44 and made it look so easy in his 2nd year at 19 years old and landed 36 goals as an 18 year old In the nhl, 7 hatricks before the age of 20, a 5 goal game. If laine ever gets traded from winnipeg and gets put on a better team like leafs, boston or islanders. Which sound like the three he would best be suited at, he would be a 50 goal scorer yearly gurantee it. This kid is insane shipping, rarely misses with his shots less, 6'5" and tough too.
He now scores 5 kills in Fortnite per round and can't piece together points on his own hockey line. That's star power for you.

This is the crazy good Laine who looked like he was on pace to score the most goals in NHL history. Everything just went in for him. 60-70 goals a season easy. But something happened and he hasn't been the same since.
