You guys should be calling them out and telling everybody this so maybe they'll feel pressure to bring in some people who actually understand how hockey is supposed to be played. In its current state, the game is massively dumbed down for people who don't have the patience to learn about the sport. They don't have to learn defense or cycling the puck because they can get away with spamming stick checks, forcing bad passes, and beating the goalie by just skating around him and tapping the puck in an open net. Do the right thing and hold EA accountable.
Curious if it'd be possible to do a twin team challenge in NHL 23? Have the guys draft their own teams where the majority of the players need to share the same last name with at least one other person on the roster (e.g. Mike Smith & Reilley Smith). Bonus points/non-matching player slots can be awarded for adding players with the same first and last name to the team (e.g. draft two Sebastian Aho's and you free up a slot to draft McDavid) Dunno if it's do-able but figured I'd suggest it
