On the most recent TSN Insider Trading segment, Bob McKenzie spoke about the uncertainties with both the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and the 2020-2021 NHL season, and how this may shape up in relation to the 2020 NHL top prospects. Alexis Lafrenière in particular is an interesting one, as there’s no certainty that his QMJHL team—the Rimouski Océanic—let alone the entire CHL is going to return for the fall hockey season. McKenzie then notes how Lafrenière’s agent is willing to take a look at all playing options in the fall, including the potential of playing in Europe, in leagues like the SHL, the NLA, the Czech Extraliga, the Liiga, or the DEL.

I mean. Even if CHL would start again, would it be the best for him? In Europe he could try adult hockey Even before draft with better competition than in chl
He should just get drafted now, has a chance at going to Montreal
I hope he comes to Sweden. It would be interesting to be able to compare him to Raymond and Holtz. Now it is kind of hard to know how big of a difference there is since they play in such different leagues. I think it would be really nice to see how good he would be in the SHL.
20 20 20 1 season
would europe even be opened up in september
Would you ever consider collabing with me?
Come to Linköping
I'd love to see him play in Finland
OHL/WHL is not worth his time. On an NHL roster then possible AHL his second season if he experiences some delays in development.
I see Lafrenière playing in Europe for a whole season like petty
I would love watching Martha, Bertuzzi, Lafrienier, and Bedard all playing in Detroit !!! Yeah baby !!! Wouldn't that just piss off Baitman!!! D
I’d love to see top prospect play in Europe.
Imagine if he went to Zurich like Mattews
Please make a video on what hoglanders role will be in the playoffs for the nucks
Man I'd love to see him play in Montreal next year.
Dont blame him. His odds of being stuck in Ottawa sucks lol.
I would like to see him going to Mannheim if Stutzle and Seider will do so as well
LEKSANDS IF IN THE SHL
LHC in SHL
I think he should sign with Frölunda.
100% agree with this… elite CHL players should go to Europe after dominating a year in Jr…
