It must be really exciting and hard for him to get adjusted. I hope he does well. He’s such a great player and all you can hope for when you did so much for a team and a league is to help him as much as possible
To finish is career happy. Unlike what they did to Jonathan quick. As a ranger fan I can’t stand the kings for beating us in 2014. But with that aside he’s another legend player. They are treating him as a pawn and this as a business rather than a person who put so much into the franchise. Good luck on tonight’s game. Hope he brings us a cup. Or hope they get deep into the playoffs he feels good enough for next season to possibly take a pay cut for a year for another chance in New York.

i'm not sure people understand the rarity of this situation. he debuted w the Hawks at 18. he played 16 seasons w them. guys who start that young, play that long w their debut team, very very very rarely ever play for anyone else. the weirdness for him must be very great.
