Leon was a -4 (worst in the game) with 0 points in the most important game of the season and was a -5 combined with 0 points the last 2 games. He feels bad and he says its a wasted year but until Mcdavid, him and the rest of the team learn to play defence consistently this will always be the outcome. Wasted year after year. They play too much to be liability’s in the d zone. This team was capable of winning but didn’t bring it enough. Good games and good moments but not the same team every game. Didnt know if we were gonna win 5-1 or lose 5-1. Way too many undisciplined penalties many by Draisaitl. Win as a team and lose as a team and it sucks but the team as a whole and each player individually weren’t good enough. Big off season where improving is a must. 1 more ekholm type d man and a top 6 forward not named yamamoto will push this team to the next level. Skinner was arguably the worst goalie in the playoffs based on his numbers and showed his lack of experience and poise as a rookie. He will 100% be a better goalie because of this and he is the goalie of the future. Not all negatives but nobody can blame anyone but themselves because it was equally everyones fault for the loss. Mcdavid and Draisaitl put up crazy points but thats not how you win. They learned that last year and its been reiterated this year. There lines were outplayed 5v5 all series long.
What a difference between these answers, and the answers from the leafs core 4, complete and total ownership from this guy and mcdavid, the person that showed any sort of responsibility from the lease was Riley
Well…one team showed up and one team didn’t, and the one team that showed up wanted it more! No blaming…it’s done and will never be…for the Edmonton Oilers again…the NHL and referees will make sure of that!
Too many overplayed passengers in this series, and Draisaitl was not one of them. He pulled his own weight. Should have given Campbell a shot too. To put all that pressure on Skinner, just not going to end well.
I assume Skinner was asked if he wanted these games, and he would obviously say yes. Woodcroft should have known better. Not hanging him up or anything, but this series was his worst coached in his short NHL career.
Coach has to grow as an NHL coach too. He's done amazing work in Edmonton, but he's going to stumble on occasion. It's not to say they are guaranteed a cup with more experience, but, they will be better next season because of these setbacks.

Leon and McDavid deserve a cup
Get a bit more depth, improve you're defense, and get a decent goalie.
Leon you were absolutely incredible. You guys will get them next year
Smile, U could be a 🍁Maple Leaf
Draisaital is a beast. And classy as hell. Not even an oilers fan but definitely not a Vegas fan

This was the best Oilers team i've seen in a long time, I don't know… next year I guess 😭😭😭

Auf Wiedersehen, deutscher Cyborg. Slava Ukraine 😂 There is god in his world👍
The Gary Bettman curse for Canada winning the cup continues…..
The true face of an overpriced German product!😂
He has an incredible year and playoff, it’s a tough loss. Chin up Leon.
Yamamoto, RNH, Kane, Hyman were all terrible, the bottom 6 was better
This game was bad
Thank you for an amazing season and all you gave. We're all proud of you!
Правда очень жаль , что Эдмонтон не прошел дальше!!
Drai alone cares more than the entire Leafs team, ownership and management about his team being elininated…
Gosh ya just hate to see this 😊
Get out of that pedophile poverty failure of a franchise!
Fall down seven get up eight… next season try again. A lot to take note of and improve on for next season.
Chive on boys, chive on.
