  1. just shut up about chara if he saw those comments and known he he could have kicked you ass for everthing you sed about him

  2. @570goonie86 Habs fan here and I totally agree. The only problem with this hit, really…(keep in mind he DID get ejected from the game) is Montreal's response. They whine, they complain, but nobody tries to jump Chara. Get rid of the instigator rule and this shit doesn't happen. Obviously nobody wants to fight Chara, but like someone needs to stand up for him, even if you loose. The ref did what he had to do. They can't do much else. Late hit, but otherwise clean. Go Habs Go.

  3. I fear the same thing. The league won't do anything about it, and this stuff will continue to happen until some will get killed. Chara is fully responsible for his actions and so should the NHL.

  4. Chara is such an asshole though, he went cheap and checked Max into the wall and that should be a 5 day suspension not a penalty, so cheap and gay. I would be helping the guy who had the concussion.

  5. It was a clean hit into the boards. The sides of the benches have been rounded and padded since this hit. It wasn't dirty, just an unfortunate location on the ice to take the hit

  6. It's not Chara's fault. The NHL has been talking about making those sharp corners safer for years.

  7. It's funny to me- On the movies and on TV, they act like concussions and  being knocked out is just no big deal. But it can kill you. It can give you dementia and chronic depression and all kinds of debilitating problems in later years. It's horrible.

  8. Life ban for Chara. He tried to kill guy – no excuse or explanation for that. Such guy should not be even mentioned as HoF candidate.

  9. You can see Chara shove Pacioretty into that wall just before he hit, otherwise he wouldn't have made contact. Sure, taking out an opponent is one thing, but not that hard and not that intense. Chara meant what he did, don't protect him with any 'sharp edge corner' bullshit

  10. Bruins suck especially Chara and Horton and Manchand but they aren't as dirty as Pacioretty…. Sad truth…. Go Pens

  11. Looks like a clean hit followed by an unfortunate accident.
I'm sure if he could have completed the check a few feet back he would have.

  12. Man you don't even do this to your opposition in Mario Kart, let alone a living breathing human being.

  13. Max pacioretty, captain of the Canadian Olympic diving team. Typical. Montreal. They had the damn stretcher out b4 his head hit the ice. 5.0 on the dive. Little rough on the landing. He may have to settle for the bronze. Almost worthy of subban.

  14. This is the problem with you Montreal and Boston fuckers the way I feel about it fuck both Boston and Montreal

  15. Canadian police depts were flooded with calls demanding charas' arrest. All bc the hometown radio station suggested it. It was a hockey play. He didnt use a weapon just his body like you always do in hockey. I remember an old red sox player named jose offerman (2B) who charged the mound while wielding his bat and trying to use it as a weapon towards the pitcher. He broke the catchers thumb and was arrested after the game. THATS the difference.

  16. Seven years later and this is still fucking hilarious. The Quebec Diving Team has been taking dives for years, sometimes when your own building nails you, you just have to say c'est la vie. How's the golf going this year Frogs?

  17. Clearly intent to injur. He drove the head directly into the turnbuckle while both were in his direct line of sight. He was neither looking at nor playing the puck. Maxs body did not move in an unpredictable way as Chara made a clean body to body check. Max did not fall in an abnormal way causing his head to strike the corner. He did not trip, slip, or lose an edge. That was a violent non-hockey play well away from the puck. Max was no longer eligible to be hit. Best case scenario double minor for boarding/interference. More like double major. Looked a little closer to assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder to me. However manslaughter was certainly a possibility here as was gross negligence. Of course it looked far more intentional than negligent. He totally lined him up.

  18. to be fair, you clearly see Chara looking at the wall and he knew what he was doing. I dont know why everyone wants to defend that piece of shit. he had a heat moment and his emotion took over him like it can happen to everyone. he WANTED to do it. period

  19. Chara was finishing a check started by them both playing for the puck, it happened so quickly. It was unfortunate for sure. Chara played rough but never dirty.
