  1. I was bit suprised they didn't put kakko in the shootout, he got hands, tools those kind of situations.

  2. If it couldve ended in a draw that would have been fair, but Im happy that Sweden won (and maybe a bit extra because I know of more than a few finns who place an unreasonable amount of importance in winning against Sweden because of the past).

Also, even if Sweden defended pretty well, Finland did as well (especially in the beginning where Sweden could not get any sort of weighty play in the offensive zone), though I also dont think Sweden where anywhere close to perfect, there was a few mistakes and chances given that Finland probably should have taken, I know that when two good teams meet, theres bound to be a chance or two eventually, but it felt like Finlands best chances came from sloppy or unfocused play by the Swedes (even though they had very good movement in the offensive zone, a bit like watching bandy at times even.)

  3. Wouldn't be surprised if these two teams will play against each other in the final. However i think it will be Switzerland against any of these two in the end in the final. Well played Suomi but now you see Sweden don't have the Swedish version of Marjamäki as the coach? (Garpenröv). Now we have Sam Hallam the Swedish version of Jukka Jalonen. Let's see who wins in the end. In my opinion Finland was better team but winner takes it all. Glhf Finland in last games and hopefully see you later. Loves from // Swede.

  4. In one sequence of the game both Jonathan Pudas (Kiruna), and Ville Pokka (Tornio) stood between each other and the feeling when i from Haparanda in earlier days easily as a forward beaten them both in a tight game to win it in overtime. I did it once against Kiruna and once against Tornio in younger days same year 2008 and still i became a loser amd now they play in IIHF. Makes me feel great even though im sad i didn't became anything at all.

  5. Great game! Really tight fight but Finland was little better imo. Defensively Sweden had a stellar performance and hopefully they can step up the offensive each game now!

  6. I'm just saying… The north Americans are lucky Sweden and Finland isn't one single country as we once was…. 😁

  7. Oh no, not again! The result must be rigged. Everyone in the world wanted Finland to win. We could all hear the audience…

  8. Я незнаю кто смотрит из россиян чм по хокею когда там наших нет, мне пофигу кто с кем и как сыграет, а вообще я болею на этом чм за сборную монголии😂😅
