People cry that the NHL sucks at growing the game but then say shit like “I’m no longer interested in the playoffs” because it isn’t Tampa Bay, Colorado, Chicago, Pittsburgh, or Boston in the final 4. Make it make sense. Dallas and Vegas have both recently been in the cup finals but Carolina and Florida it’s been a pretty long time. I for one am happy we for the 2nd straight year are getting a new or pretty new Stanley Cup champion.

3 of the 4 were very predictable. Vegas won the West, Dallas was alive to win the West til the last two games, Carolina won the Metro and also Florida won the Atlantic the year prior and picked up Tkachuk. Makes sense to me.

Hockey is massive in all these cities which is why the NHL is full of players from these states. Gary Bettman is doing a great job and there is even a chance one or two of these games might sell out (what with the visiting Canadians and all)!
