  1. The leafs without Matthews is a worse team. That's just a fact

  2. MLSE is sleeping. Get your presdient and gm in order asap otherwise your going to miss out on allot of important decisions. Amazing this ownership group.

  3. "my intention is to get the heck out of this presser as fast as possible with as little public image damage as possible"

  4. This the most painful elimination by far. Really wanted this specific group to win it. So sad we won’t see this group do it as there will be many changes.

  5. What else can he say, does he mean it only he knows but I hate athletes press conference where saying so much to say nothing is what they are taught since day one.

  6. Leafs need to ship this guy out. He just doesn't score when it counts. He was a no show this spring. But he will be there in October when it doesn't. Matthews is a regular season guy.

  7. Every member of the core should be taking a pay cut as they have not earned a raise based on their playoff performances. Simple, you intend to stay? great we intend on paying you less based on your play and the cap system the modern NHL is played in.

  8. I think he realizes he’ll never win in Toronto but probably doesn’t care. He just wants that next 8 year payday

  9. They should've asked him what inflation has done to price of coke. ⛷️

  10. I know it's unfair but trade Nylander In the June draft. Don't resign Gustafsson, O'Reilly, Kerfoot, and please don't resign Holl 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤣🤣🤣. Resign Kampf, Acciari, Bunting, Schenn and Samsonov. Buyout Murray and JT. Fire Keefe. Keep Dubas unless u can find a gm to replace him. The best gms already signed with teams like Holland, Nill, Sakic and Yzerman their teams not letting them go.

  11. I'm not a Leafs fan, but I look up to Auston. I grew up playing hockey in Southern California, and to see someone from that general area (the US southwest) do as well as he has in the NHL (and for a historic original six franchise like Toronto) has meant a lot. I really hope he stays in Toronto and that the Leafs win soon.

  12. Listen to this guy he doesn't even care. This is not a winner he's comfortable have won a first round playoff victory. Toronto will slip into oblivion under this guy for the next decade. Useless player did nothing when it counted.
