Anyone saying that he played bad obviously don't see that if you take his numbers from this season and stretch them out into a full season they are exactly equal to last season

He actually played good this season, a point per game which was only slightly down from the previous years output of 93 points in 77 games. I think the overall decrease in how well the team played as a whole had to do with his drop off in points because he was still a great player this year. In Claude We Trust!!

Like the video, but I think it would have been even better to use both shootout goals against the Leafs, in which Giroux pulls the identical move on two different goalies, for the bridge starting at about 1:55. Could have been a nice juxtaposition by cutting back and forth between the two.

Oh boy … Habs fans must lament what could have been if they had taken Giroux in 2006. For context, Montreal had the 20th pick that year, and Giroux was taken 2 picks after them by the Flyers. The Habs have long coveted for that first line center of French descent, and Giroux would have fit the bill perfectly (Giroux is from Ontario, but is of French descent).
