  1. I come back to this video now and again, and every time it fills me with the same happiness. I just got to watch a man's dream come true, a dream he probably wouldn't achieve and knew it.

  2. That felt like it was 5 minutes long and it was 30 seconds of Timonen with the cup, real legend right there boys and girls. Glad we could help him get one under his belt before he went to the Hall Of Fame

  3. Im a diehard flyer fan and I was beyond happy for Kimmo here, pros pro and one of the most competitive guys we had for years.

  4. I'm a Flyers fan. That was an ULTIMATE show of pure class Toews's part to hand the Cup right to Kimmo. I've always respected Toews

  5. As a Preds fan that met Kimmo as a kid in 2001 when he did a Preds-sponsored promo trip to my inline hockey league, he has always been one of my favorite players. Even tho he did it with the Blackhawks, I’m so happy he got the cup he deserved, and I’ll always love this moment. Also mad respect for Toews for the class shown here.

  6. I'm sure it has been long enough that nobody will see this but it was a bit of poetic justice for kimmo, for those that don't know he is the defenceman that kane went around to score the clinching goal in overtime in 2010

  7. As a Hawks fan, I’ve never been so proud of the modern dynasty the Blackhawks made in 2015!

  8. People need to remember that Kimmo had to sign a waiver that if he dies in the rink blackhawks and NHL are not resposible.

  9. I'm a Chicago Blackhawks fan & was happy to see Kimmo Timonen get the Stanley Cup, first.

This was a class act by Jonathan Toews–especially when you hear him say "Come here, Timmo!…".

I remember watching this game with my dad as if it were literally yesterday & we were both happy to not only see the Chicago Blackhawks win a third Stanley Cup in a 5-year span, we were happy that Kimmo Timonen went out the way he did.

I hated seeing him go up against the Chicago Blackhawks in mid-2010 during that Stanley Cup chase when he was on the Philadelphia Flyers, but, found it funny how the team he ended up losing the Stanley Cup finals to in mid-2010 would later take him on as a new addition to their roster in mid-2015 when they won another Stanley Cup.

What a way to go out & cap off a 21-year NHL career…

  10. That moment where Flyers and Blackhawks fans set aside their differences to cheer on an NHL treasure
