As a VGK fan, I agree with everything you said. He had no reason to be overly friendly. I don't think want he did was wrong or right, just neutral. Dude's season just ended, he has more than 1 reason to be less than happy in that moment.
I say it again the foul was disgusting and had been penalized with a minimum of 20 game !!! Each player is an idol for the youth, and if such a foul with the only intention to injure your opponent is only penalized like that, 1 game, the junior will hit next game his opponent also and what will you tell him???!!!

This is a hockey game not a timber challenge. I am very angry about this decision because it was the result of real bad umpire decisions .

As a Vegas fan I don’t blame Draisaitl. 1. He’s extremely upset his team just lost the series and 2. What Pietrangelo did was bad . Stupid and dirty play. So I don’t blame him for having no love for Pietrangelo.
That being said the people pretending like Vegas was the only ones in this series doing dirty shit are delusional. Edmonton started the series and kept it up the entire time CLEARLY trying to target and injure Stone. Kept cross checking him in the back, one of which sent him face first into the goal post. He was just coming off of back surgery. That’s not an accident they kept doing that. Also Kane did some dirty shit as well, not excluding the crosscheck to Pietrangelos neck after the buzzer , etc. So yes , what Pietrangelo did was stupid and dirty, but he wasn’t alone in that whatsoever . How playoff hockey goes a lot of the time. But yea definitely don’t blame Draisaitl . And honestly i would expect if anything it was more him just being upset they lost than anything .

I understand not wanting to shake AP’s hand after that slash but let’s be honest, the Oiler’s are a bunch of cry babies when they don’t win or get their way. I could make a 10 min montage of McDavid throwing or thrashing his stick, throwing a tantrum when he doesn’t score.

The NHL should ban 4 things next season…

3). Morons who continually bang on the glass.
4) Post-game handshakes.
If the Golden Knights win the Cup, I firmly believe Draisaitl will be there partying with Pietrangelo and this will all blow over after a few pops with the boys. Fans overreacting as usual. smdh
Pietrangelo tried to serious damage to Leon with that hack. I'm not a fan of either of these teams so I don't care who won so I can safely say that Draisaitl was fine brushing off Pietrangelo in this.

As a oilers fan it sucks that they made it out of the playoffs, Mcdavid is the best player in the world right now and he deserves better.
Aiden Hill's career has been great to follow. He used to play for the Henderson Silver Knights. Me and the fam would go to Henderson knights games and brossiot and hill were always too good for the AHL in my opinion. Too bad brossiot got hurt. Clearly he wasn't 100% after the surgery but the team played him anyways. Hill did a great job picking up the slack and such an amazing performance. It would be such a shitty situation to be in but he did the best he could and his best was good enough for the likes of Draisaidle and McDavid
I disagree, he is totally deserving of the thrashing he is taking online. He is a sore loser, he throws fits all the time on the bench. Last year he threw a tantrum at a press event when asked why he was so pissy. This isn’t a one time thing and constantly a reflection of his character. He must be just brutal to be around in the locker room.
