Last night is what Gus meant when he said "you never know what team is going to show up in front of you". One thing that has been consistent for the Senators though is that they suck on the road. For the past few years its been the same thing where it looks like they are hungover for every road game. That is 1 thing I honestly thought G would fix.
We played well in the first, just one error by Hamonic and a bit of a weak one from Sogaard, then we embarrassed ourselves from that point on
The shots didn't reflect the play. The Sens were never in this game. I hate those drop passes during the powerplay, it just kills more time for the opposition.

This would of been a great opportunity to gain two points, what a missed opportunity.
We were bound to lose a few down the stretch here, sucks to lose one that bad and to a team like Chicago, but on the bright side at least those 2 points didn't go to someone we are in the race with. Plus losing that bad has got to wake up a few guys that may have not been trying their hardest last night

I appreciate when the Senators only rip off ticket purchasers in other cities. No entertainment value when they play like that. We're they partying too hard in the hours before the game? Fans deserve more consistency.
