Bailey has been through the Darkest of times with the Islanders and that says a lot about his character.

I'm sure josh is a good guy and loyal isle but since baiiey is untradeable either offer him a buy out or bury him in the ahl. Buy out should be about a $2.5 mill. cap savings. I remember draft experts hoping filatov was there at 8 in '08 or said snow should move up to take L.schenn. could have taken c hodgson too. That wasn't a strong 8 spot that draft. I guess isles did alright compared to the other guys they could have taken.
Also with leaf shake-up coming rumours are floating around about austen and willie n. with both eligible to re-negotiate with leafs july 1. Willie already has a 10 team ntc. Ausrton will get one if he re-signs. So if leafs want to move one of their core (marner wont leave t o-f pj judas who wont leave as well) right around draft may be a good time to make a move and max their trade value. And i don't think austen is going back home to az. with the tempe vote getting a resounding no tonight so yotes may go bye bye before austen can get there. Thoughts Gil-anyone? Could isles be a player for austen or willie n.? And lou loves guys he is familiar with.
