One off-season career ending stubbed toe please
Terrible decision.
Yet another example of a team abusing the CBA to surpass the cap during playoffs.
Ridiculous.
How does this affect the cap?
I’m optimistic he can bounce back after a long break and a summer of rehab. He won’t ever be a 7M guy, but there’s no reason he can’t be a competent 2nd pairing guy again when healthy.
Wait, are they going to….buy him out?
That’s great
Is there any real negatives to buying him out? I don’t fully understand the buy out process. Someone please ELI5
Yea, as we expected of this dirty management team. Activating him right when we get into the the conference finals to circumvent the cost cap. Someone really needs to look into this loop-hole and fine the heck out of us for this dirty trick.
I know he can’t be on IR if we want to buy him out, but this probably means nothing, correct?
Canucks fined for activating player during offseason.
Ugh
As currently constructed this team needs him to show up to camp and at least be a serviceable bottom pair D…. And even then… that might be too much to ask at this point
Well, I am glad he is healthy I guess, I mean, I don’t hate the guy, be healthy, but that would have solved a lot of issues haha.
