Can’t post the whole thing but here’s a relevant quote.

    >One player that comes to mind the most in the 2023 draft when thinking about Kotkaniemi and Hayton is Dalibor Dvorsky. He’s a center with average skating, is very skilled and has had very good stretches, both at the club and international level, but his production in Allsvenskan this season wasn’t amazing. Dvorsky could become an excellent NHL player, but the risk profiles in a top-10 pick look quite similar to me.

Please don’t pick KK 2.0 over Michkov!

  2. In 2018, we should’ve taken Tkachuk instead of KK and this year and that’s this year we should take Leonard instead of Dvorsky (If we pass on MM).

Some interesting observations about how teams were betting on smaller skilled defenseman to fit the “Modern NHL” mold, however, they have mostly been outperformed by bigger mobile defenders. Had me wondering about Hutson and how his game will translate to the NHL with less space and bigger faster opposition.

KK is still the best center of 2018, when we drafted him we had 1 top 3 center.

That was a fun read. Thanks for sharing
