Can there truly be any doubt whatsoever that the greatest all around hockey player in the world playing right now, and possibly ever, is Sidney Crosby. Honestly there's really no one even close at this point. The throne is his now, and will be for a long, long time to come. We are lucky to be able to witness someone playing the greatest game in the world so unbelievably well.
Its pointless comparing these two and arguing about whos better. Theyre both just as good as each other just enjoy the plays and stop arguing.

I wish people could just enjoy a good matchup without having to have a debate about who is better. Both of them are absolute beasts and generational talents.

McDavid was just standing there watching like.. come on you guys, there's TWO of you! If I were on ANY OTHER TEAM this wouldn't happen! He had plenty of time to go in and bail them out but he just said… Awww F it… And I don't blame him.
Crosby scored more points than McDavid in an era with LESS points scored on average. McDavid is one of the worst defensive players in the league, a bit like Patrick Kane. Crosby is very strong in his own end.
