I think you are being very conservative with only 45–50 pts for Slaf next year if he plays the whole season in Montreal. I see him getting way more if he plays 82 games.

For my part, I will monitor the Flopkovski situation. The media never talks about him so I guess his development is not going as well as he would have hoped.
It wasn't a "bad" season for Slaf. It was a normal season for an 18 year old fresh out of Europe. Habs fan are insane.

You mentioned injuries. I feel that is Montreal's #1 thing to keep a close eye on. If they continue to be an injury-riddled team, that's a big problem. And "Jack-Eye" (can't remember how to spell it) won't be much help if he keeps injuring himself in fights. The Montreal trainers should analyze what other teams do to remain healthy for the entire season and try to find solutions for the Canadiens to minimize injuries.
One thing I disagree with is how you said Kent Hughes don’t mess up and pick one of Carrlson, Michkov or Smith, yes all great picks, but don’t disregard Zack Benson or Ryan Leonard, I wouldn’t be upset with either one of those guys either.
I don't think Beck can play in the AHL next year unless his team is eliminated of the playoffs… he can play in the NHL tho.. to play in the AHL whe would have to be 20 or having played 4 seasons in the CHL.. neither is true "The CHL NHL Transfer Agreement requires all draft picks under the age of 20 to be loaned back to their major junior club unless they are on the NHL roster or have completed four full junior hockey seasons."
