A player like Bedard deserves to go to a storied franchise like the Hawks, not the Ducks and certainly not the Can'tnucks. We also got pick 20, I think, and a bunch of 2nd rounders, as well. Hopefully we can grab a few more cups in the near future on the back of this year's draft.
QUESTION OF THE DAY — How Much More Excited Are You For The Blackhawks Future Now That They Will Have Connor Bedard?
In Canada, weve known about Bedard since he was 12. Playing against kids 2 year's older at that age. I was just as happy when my Pats, the oldest franchise in Jr hockey hot him and he came here to play and was veey loyal. 1st kid to get exceptional status in the WHL to play at 15. It is nice to grow up and live just outside Regina. There was talk the Pata should trade Bedard this year but he said No. Pata did a bad job of buildong a team around him and he single handidly got them to the playoffs. Pats hosted the Memorial Cup a few years ago and traded away so many assetes and still drafted poorly but got lucky they kept their first pick the year he became available. Chicago is my American team and like you all was scoreboard watching late in the season. Didnt want him to go to thebother bottom teams including the Habs. I only like Edmonton in Canada. Was a big Eberle guy when he was with the Pats and Edmonton drafted him. Ery happy for you all. Felt just as nervous watching the lottery. So nadly wanted him to end up there. Saskatchewan is known as a windy province, he ends up in the Windy city. Pats are the oldest JR franchise on earth and Chicago is an original 6. Feels lkke fate. He's born on the 17th, will be drafted ag 17, wears 98, 9+8=17 and Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet. The Q plan led by Trump amd the military is real and there is no doubt. Wether you beleive that or not, you need to start paying attention and researching about whatsbreally going on and whonis teally in charge.

It would be very nice if Tyler Johnson can have a little come back just to be able to take on 1C minutes and keep Connor under 15 minutes at 5v5. At least for the first half of the season obviously if he's lighting it up give him ice but 2nd line and pp1 seems like the right starting point
Poor Blackhawks fans only get 40+ years of the greatest players in the league.
I really hope Davidson brings back Kaner. I really wish Toews could come back too but after that send off, I doubt it. But with a kid like Bedard, it would be huge to have the championship pedigree in the building. Not only that, with Kane and Toews in the building, he won’t be compared to them and haunted by their ghosts

The Blackhawks also have CAP SPACE and can build a team around him. I watched year after year all our young top talent go to other teams because of poor cap management. How many young players were given away for a run at the cup? The Hawks were bleeding from the top and the bottom as they chased the three cups. The Hawks had to start again and what a way for God to bless this city.
The right linemates can overcome size, Secord made sure Savard was safe.
As a Coyotes fan seeing Bedard going to a garbage org like Chicago is painful.
