    1st this was gonna be a privately funded. 2nd Scottsdale Mesa Chandler and the Salt River Indian Community still have interest for an Arena. There will be no relocation.

    You should check out the report by Katie Strang by the Athletic about Alex Meruelo. He is described as very toxic.

    So they used the magic word to kill this project: "Billionaire". Use this word and you can stop any project that needs public help, even cleaning up a toxic waste dump and turning it into a park.

    i thought the same. i thought for sure they already had a new arena in the works. what an embarrassment for the organazation and the NHL.

    It’s easy move them down south roughly about an hour from phoenix to Tucson because we have their farm team here already and they sell out
