  1. It takes a solid center core to win. Last time we had a decent 2C (Carter) and 3C (Stoll) we were contenders. This is just a first move to build up to get to contender status. Next summer, NHL ready prospects plus 30 million in cap space to beef up the D, wingers or add some grit.

  2. I gotta agree with you about us signing Danault and the future prospects. This feeling makes me feel that we are better today, but worse tomorrow

  3. As a flames fan and Habs fan we and kings don’t get along ever since thachuk and doughty tangled you shouldn’t like having danault in our pacific division lol means we gotta deal with him now lol

  4. Love the love legs. Being overloaded on the center is a really good thing not just for the position but this gives us all kinds of opportunities with regards to trades. By the way don't think we didn't notice the 99 in your name. LA Gretzky was a thing of beauty.

  5. Don’t like the kings since I’m a hawks fan but I got a strong feeling they’re finishing 3rd in the pacific and making the playoffs this coming season

  6. Honestly Canucks just got themselves 10+ extra wins with elder gone ..best news I've heard In years for the Canucks

  7. I forget where i heard it from some nhl channel. But they said dont focus on they lack of points danault has not. Gotten look at the amount of points he has taken from opposing teams top players. I do feel his is do for a bounce back year. He has good speed a really good shot. Id would like to see him get 40 point this year. But we shall see. Great defensive player under the right system

  8. The Kings’ way is to stack two or more faceoff-capable players per forward line. And have all three forwards be defensively responsible. Since LA’s championship playing philosophy has always been a possession game, being aggressive in the face off circles and causing turnovers go hand in hand. That’s how LA won Cups…limit your chances with defensively responsible forwards and dmen like Doughty, then when you finally get a chance, you have to beat a red-hot Jonathan Quick. This is how LA programs the other team into getting Quick in their heads.

  9. I dont think any of us are ready to see Kopitar move out of 1C.. that day gets closer every season though…. how are you supposed to replace a guy like that?!?!? Stay young Kopi!!!!!

  10. The last 4+ years the Kings have drastically needed more goals from forwards and defenders. They sign Arvidsson good ! But that’s not enough. So why Danault ? A bigger why is Edler ? Role players yes, but not goal scorers. Lots of hopefuls in the Kings system… But if we are supposed to get in playoffs and not be out in 4 games…. Why didn’t Blake take money we spent on Danault and the remaining cap space and get another proven NHL goal scorer ???? Only thing I can think of is the free agents that were on market wanted longer terms than we were willing to offer. Thoughts ?

  11. Kings fans are only nice because we were horrible for 90% of our existence. I’ve been a fan since 1974.

  12. Kings are STACKED with prospects. The signings allow those guys to progress . Blake's brilliant here. & letting the younger guys time. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👏👏👏👏
