  1. He should told Woodcroft, No. I am not starting. Man you were getting pulled anyways.

  2. Skinner u had a great year man, don’t put this on you, this team has a great future and I can’t wait for next year

  3. 2 Goalies at the same level in NHL so the coach have to look who's got the momentum

  4. Great year Stu. Your coach let you and team down. You said you can bounce back and are confident. I’m no goalie coach and have no resume, but I see when your confident, you are aggressive and on top of crease. As playoffs went on, you got deeper and deeper. At best you were 1 foot off goal line. I saw numerous loss of angles especially on blocker side…. To the point where you were covering wide shots to blocker and leaving a mountain of mesh on glove side. Play aggressive, use your stick, and be creative. I’m available as a very reasonably priced goalie coach lol! Obviously easier said than done. Still a great year for you personally!

  5. Tough pinning your hopes on a rookie goalie. Our team up front was way to good to have a rookie in net. Campbell should have started tonight. All the Campbell haters out there, he played good near the end of the year and has playoff experience.

  6. So many mistakes – by all the players and the coaches as well. Too many to name, but they really got sub-par goaltending and should have switched to Campbell much sooner. – perhaps even after the game he was pulled in the LA series. Can win the cup with good but not great goaltending, but you can't go far when it's below average. Woodcroft should not have put everything onto the back of the rookie's especially as Campbell was available and playing great down the stretch.

  7. I hope Ken Holland can trade Skinner, Nurse and picks to Nashville for Juuse Saros. Oilers need a good goalie who can play under pressure and Skinner is not the answer. Time is running out for Mcdavid.

  8. Great regular season stats mean nothing when you cant get it done when it counts. Your rebound control is an absolute issue you need to fix, and dont play the puck you suck at that too!

  9. yall aint real fans. Quit sugar coating him and the oilers. Brutal last couple games man. campbell should have started atleast 2/3 games. but skinner had to poop the bed at the worst times. i love my oilers but damn.

  10. Good season but iffy playoffs. Woody should have given Campbell a couple of starts. How do you continue to start a goalie that was pulled 4 times?

  11. Feels bad for stu. Woodcroft tried to give him confidence with letting him start through his struggles but in hindsight may have shuttered that confidence.

  12. Can't imagine how this man is feeling. Hope he doesnt hold this on his shoulders. This takes a team effort. Take from it and learn from it. As much as this sucks… remember….. You're a big part of why we got this far 👍

  13. Woodcraft he was pulled 3 times ina 6 game series ?? It was a fail season . We made it further last year !!! Changes need to be made .. 3 line keep as is great energy great chemistry kane nugg and hyman didint show up !! Injured or not !

  14. Have to fail to succeed, Oilers will be in it for the next few years! Look at all the loses Colorado took to win & Pittsburgh losing to Detroit in the finals and winning the next year. Oilers will be hungry next year & they will get there.

  15. Embarrassing you and woodcroft gotta go I played against you and I knew you weren’t good enough for playoffs told many people this both series get him out wow you are horrible Stuart plesse get back to AHL

  16. Campbell should've started in round one after it was clear Skinner had lost his confidence.
They were a tandem this year, and skinner was in a funk and campbell was in the zone
Terrible coaching choice. Another year wasted

  17. Oilers will NEVER win a Cup. It's been what? 33 long years. And the drought continues

  18. When Campbell gives up a goal he completely collapses. There was no reason to trust putting Campbell in the net after how terrible he was all season.

  19. .915+ wins championships. Not sub .900. Love the tandem of Campbell and Stu or hate the tandem of Campbell and Stu numbers tell the tale of this early exit.

  20. He’s just not a starting goaltender yet. He made some terrible season-ending mistakes.

  21. For all you out there blaming Woodcroft for putting Skinner in goal again instead of Campbell maybe you’re not aware that almost every coach in the NHL will tell you that the majority of communication they have with their goalies is done through the goalie coach. Of course the head coach has the final say but they depend a lot on the feedback of their assistants. If anyone is to blame its Justin Swartz the Oilers goalie coach who has done squat to improve the goaltending in all the years he’s been here. How he maintains his job I’ll never know. When the team put Mike Smith on LTIR after last season they should have made him the new goalie coach. With all his years of experience in the league he would have been an excellent replacement.

  22. Stu certainly wasn't as bad as the stats suggest.
That said, still a mistake not to have started Campbell once after so many good games in relief.

  23. Three 100 point players, and couldn't get passed round two….Woodcroft screwed up hardcore by playing Skinner every game….his stats are horrible
