As long as Gary Bettman is alive and / or employee of the NHL the team will never move. He has clearly made this his Waterloo, the owners will have to step in and force it before they move ANYWHERE.
My 2 cents, I would like to see a team back in QC but I won’t hold my breath on that happening either.

I would say Kansas City is a good AHL market. But at this point I think the KC metro is bigger then St. Louis so it might be able to supper NHL but that’s a lot if teams in that area.

I would BEG them to call themselves the Scouts damn it… You don’t move back to a city where the former teams name is not currently in use (See Thrashers) and not Re-use the name.
only Salt Lake can have a new name, Huston should be Aeros, Kansas City Should be Scouts and if by some strange Miracle we find ourselves in the mirror universe and Quebecor gets awarded the team Nordiques are in order.

I like that Saskatoon is building a second NHL sized arena and just waiting…. still waiting since 1985 for a team.

I think KC would be a sound move. Great sports town that doesn’t have a winter sports team. The area is growing. Nice natural rivalry with the Blues already.
KC, Houston, and Quebec are the 3 acceptable answers IMO
