Jason Kidd is not a coach that unlocks talent from players. He’s a manager of personalities. I have zero faith in the team when their inept on the coaching side.
Tyler Hendricks appears to be the favorite at #10. If he's unavailable, Cason Wallace would be my pick. (Sign & trade Kyrie in the Summer)
Nba lottery is fake and a joke, if it was released mavericks would have lost the pick by being 11th are 12th bit miraculously stayed at 10

Bertans is effectively in his option year so trading him isn’t critical. We are clearly playing for 2025 at this point and merely waiting out Davis’s and hardaway’s contracts. Kyrie leaving wouldn’t surprise me so getting him interested in Phoenix in a sign and trade for ayton would make sense. Both he and Luka are 24 and combined with green, Hardy and the 10th pick would allow Dallas to start over and build something. Wasn’t upset with the Brunson betrayal. He’s a guy who was never going to be someone who could play good enough defense to make this work. Start bringing in defensive
Stalwarts and wing scorers. Buy low guys like Kuminga or Mitchell Robinson should be our targets this off season.
Brunson was a defensive cancer on this team. It just took a team like golden state to show the obvious flaws of having a short guard playing point on your defense. Ayton for Kyrie is the best case scenario. Hendricks is the best case scenario at 10. Starting over is the best case scenario for Dallas in 2023-24.
This isn’t a team, even with Kyrie and a vet, that can win a championship.
