No word on Dubas, but the coach is fired?

Shanny is still preparing his speech I guess.

Funny how the guy who nets us our first win in 19 years is immediately axed.

Not saying it’s the wrong decision though, at least not until I hear who the replacement is.

Any chance we can steal Pete Deboer? His game 7 record is mighty appealing.

Edit: I’m being lynched for ever daring to doubt the ineptitude of Sheldon Keefe. How dare I say such blasphmey after THREE years. You’re right, he may be 42 years old, but he has the emotional maturity of a toddler, and the body and athleticism as a top American competitive eater. He may have hit puberty 30 to 25 years ago, but he is a still a child, incapable of all pressure and criticism that comes his way. I am but a lowly neckbeard maple leafs fan who lives in my mothers basement here to praise him for just getting past the 1st round once in his first 3 seasons. I am a rodent, and he is too. I’m going to go light myself on fire now. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways with you jamming the downvote arrow on your computer screen with all your might and telling me how much of an idiot I am.

How reputable has this account been previously? I’m unfamiliar

It *looks* like he *may* from a random account.

At the very least, has this account broken anything before?

True or not it makes sense.

    1) Dubas was positive towards keefe but did not endorse him.

    2) There’s been a lot of outside talk on comfort and how its too comfortable for the leafs. Taking keefe out and bringing in someone else reduces that.

    3) He’s been outcoached every series. He’s always the one who has had to make adjustments. Very rare where he’s done something different and the opposition has had to adjust.

    4) This allows dubas/new gm a bit more leeway in negotiations with trades for our core 4. Because you can’t bring the same coach gm and core back. If he gets poor offers at least he can say they’re going with a new voice and shift the deck chairs on the titanic – (eg third and fourth lines).

Let’s see. I expect a lot of news in the coming weeks. Lot of work to be done – not a lot of time.

I don’t want to reveal my source, but it looks like I’m going to eat a ham sandwich
