Sports are rigged. NHL knows that Minnesota fans will show up regardless. Where as teams like Chicago and Dallas for example are bandwagon fans. They make more money from bigger markets.
You can’t say the Minnesota Wild are the new Maple Leafs because that is false. Wild actually play good playoff hockey against very good teams in the first round. The Maple Leafs play like trash no matter who the opponent is. I was watching their series against the Lightning and it didn’t even look like nhl hockey, both teams played bad.
