Habs Prospect Update – Hutson, Mailloux, Beck

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at some highlights from Habs prospects that are still playing hockey. Lane Hutson has been putting on a show for team USA during the World Championships, he’s already scored a highlight reel shootout goal.. and now, yesterday, he managed to top that off with an unbelievable goal that looked very Connor McDavidlike..

We’ll also take a look at the highlights from Owen Beck and Logan Mailloux who are battling it out in the OHL playoffs!

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

  1. Bring em up next season along with Hudson. They are all better then 90% of our current lot of Debbie downers. I expect to see them at Training camp this fall and if they keep this moment up, then I see no reason they do not make the team. Habs need to ship out some old lazy vets and make room for lots of rookies. It is time.

  2. Hot as the weiners on Phil Kessel's BBQ, LOL. How do you come up with this stuff?

  3. Hope he reaches that potential but I'm more excited about whoever they pick at 5th this summer. Assuming they actually pick at 5th. 🤔

  4. Hudson reminds me of a certain Raymond Bourque. I've seen many compare him to Cale Makar, but I disagree, Hudson is more mobile and isn't really a QB with a strong shot, he is more like a finesse player and a playmaker that adjust to the situation, hence why he reminds me of Bourque.

  5. My opinion Owen Beck is the closest thing we have seen to Ryan O’Reilly if you look at there OHL Numbers they are identical but Owen Beck scoring more goals and getting 66 points this season in 8 less games then O’Reilly in his second season and Owen Beck has performed better then O’Reilly did in the OHL playoffs so people are saying Owen Beck is a 4th line Center and I think they are Crazy! Owen beck for a little bit will be a 3rd line Center and eventually he will become a second line Center and may even play his way out of Montreal and I Hope that doesn’t happen

  6. Great video ,junkie ,this one I have mixed feelings on . I hope all three succeed ,but I think Logan ,and Beck should spend a year with a h l . I think these 2 are a sure thing. As far as Huts on I just hope he can grow enough ,and work with his skating . Scouts say his skating needs work. Then for me I m not convinced it ll translate to n h l .

  7. Lane Hutson was picked at 62.. Almost every team passed over him twice.. The Habs have 5th this draft but they also have a bottom 1st and early second. Who knows what other Gem they can pick up. Beck was a great second round pickup too. I sure hope the Habs find a place for these guys. I like em all!

  8. Yes all 3 of them would look great on our HABS team and I'm pretty optimistic that it will happen.

We are only entering the second year of our rebuild, with only 2 more years leftover for the true competitiveness to begin: Our journey to reclaim Lord Stanley's Cup.

We're in good hands with Gorton, Hughes and St. Louis! 👍

  9. I wihs they'd sign him and demote him to the CHL. Let's be real for a second here, he's most likely getting signed next season or the one after that, meaning he doesn't finish his BA (its 4 yrs in the US) So, since he won't get to finish his studies, and he's basically an sure fire thing in the NHL (conditional on physical growth, improvements on skating and defense) I think the CHL is 1000 times better suited for him than the NCAA.
