  1. If the Suns owner refuses to let the Coyotes play in their arena, then moving the team to Houston makes the most sense.

  2. To all the hockey fans crapping on the coyotes: If you haven’t been to the Phoenix area, you can’t understand how the success of the team is very geographically dependent. Phoenix area is massive and very spread out. The location of events matters more than other big cities.

Bettman knows that there’s incredible untapped potential in that region. It’s growing fast. But arena location and good ownership is everything.

Bettman has grown the game and the league exponentially during his tenure. If there’s an arena somewhere near downtown Phoenix, the airport or Tempe and ownership who spends to the cap and invests in the team….it would be wildly successful (like Vegas).

That being said, them playing in ASU is a bad look. If the coyotes get moved, it’s only a meter of time before another team gets relocated to Phoenix area, or expansion team. The market is way too big and fans are there, with incredible growth potential.

  3. Dullest team in pro sports with the dullest drama in pro sports. This is like watching paint dry. COYOTES LEAVE!

  4. Sometimes in business it’s just better ti7cute losses and move on …

  5. How is Quebec City not a ready made environment exactly? It has population, fans of hockey, broadcast ready and most important a ready 18 000+ Arena wich is farely new for an Arena

  6. That damn NHL commissioner Gary Buttman just doesn’t want another team in Canada let alone Quebec that little prick is so arrogant that he would have egg all over his mug if the Coyotes were to move from Arizona to Quebec City and be successful.

  7. Back up uhauls…that’s easy. NHLPA should demand they be moved or owners pay into escrow the same amount that the top grossing team does.

  8. Honestly, I feel like all of the AZ pro teams should just be sold/moved. They're all terrible and pretty much always have been.

  9. Salt Lake city doesn't have an arena? What happened to the 2002 olympic venue?

  10. Arizona has been a disaster and drama for 10+ years now. Quebec City or any eastern city is not an option, unless a team like Detroit would move to the Central division. Houston or KC would make the most sense.

  11. Elliot is the pinnacle of professionalism.. I wonder if he'd have a job if his last name was Smith
