  1. This was so awesome to watch. There is something amazing about this sport that brings us Hockey players together. My God do I love this sport, and only the ones of us who know what its like to lace them up and step foot on that ice know how beautiful and life changing this sport truly is.. God Bless HOCKEY….

  2. This is a great family moment. Love Mike and especially as a Leaf. Your turn Nick! BRING IT HOME, WELCOME TO TORONTO.

  3. Lol marcus is Canadian and nick is American that would be a great rivalry lol

  4. To this day, I can't understand why the Red Wings ever traded him. I always wondered how many points he would've put up, playing with Yzerman.

  5. I didn't realize that Mike's wife Janis and Nick and Marcus Mom passed away from cancer in 2009 and she was the Niece of my favorite Ranger growing up Eddie Giacomin.
I was lucky that my late Cousin Richie worked for Mr Francis and Ferguson from 1965 to 78 so I met all the Rangers from the 1970's and had used sticks like Eddie's.
He was a great guy and I still have a NY Daily News picture the day after the Rangers lost game 7 to the Flyers in 1974. My late cousin, Eddie and fellow goalie Gillies Villemure are sitting at a Penn Station Bar dressed in suits smiling with a bowtie bartender. The headline said Rangers aging, changes are coming!
John Ferguson in his book Thunder and Lightning wrote about my cousin on 5 pages calling him my best NY Pal!
RIP Janis, Richie my cousin, Emile Francis and John Ferguson!
Long live Eddie Giacomin and the Foligno's!
