  1. I laugh at all the outside noise that our Steelers will suck😂😂 common sense alone tells you lot bout the roster

  2. When I was a kid and asked my dad about gambling – he took me to the washroom and proceeded to flush a 5$ bill down the toilet and said simply to me: "That's gambling." I never forgot that lesson. But, you are 100% right – the Vegas odds on the Steelers are crazy right now…predicting the Steelers will only win 8.5 games – and that with a third place schedule! Sheesh!

  3. Are the oddsmakers paying attention to Omar's magic? Obviously not! Maybe these odds will help the local 412 economy!!!

  4. Every year they want to find ways to count us out. They want what we have, what we've earned the past half century. Envious, they are. Every year, yes, even last year, I know they have the makeup where the team has a shot as much as anyone else in the NFL

  5. DK I think many are missing the point on these odds. This bet just shows the Steelers has the lowest chance to come in first not the highest chance to come last. Still think this is a great bet! But it’s important to understand that.

  6. Regarding todays J1Q. First game against San Francisco will be a big test and measurement for the defense. Especially the linebackers and the slot corners, on how San Fran uses their running backs out of the back field and Kittle.

  7. Sounds like some wealthy people have some control over the refs and clock folk during Steeler Vs AFC North. Expect some Wonky BS Calls…

  8. Let everyone underestimate us – the underdog is the best position for this up & coming team IMO.

  9. Point spread adds or subtracts points based on different variables. A home game for example, is worth three points for the home team. Matt, Canada and his magical effects of transforming touchdowns to field goals is a -12.

  10. Hey they have there work cut out for them alot of turnover.its all about how all theses new faces can come together.

  11. The +125 odds means for a $100 bet you will win $125. A -125 means you have to bet $125 to get 100. So the number is always a ratio to 100 and the plus/minus tells you which side of the ratio it’s on.

  12. Iron sharpens iron 💪🏼 let em hate! I’d rather be an underdog so our team has a big chip on their shoulders

  13. they say quarterback quarterback quarterback but forget its a TEAM game..and the best TEAM wins the divison

  14. I do not believe they are predicting last place. They are saying we are the least likely to win the division. There is a difference.

One can simultaneously feel a team will not be terrible but won’t be the best of four.

Cleveland for example, I imagine is a high variance team in the eyes of gamblers.

I would not be shocked if in the minds of many they would be both last place in predicted order, but given greater odds than the Steelers to win the division if Watson of old shocks the world.

  15. Betting against the Steelers to not win the division has become cliche over the past 10 seasons. They have been picked last in the division for at least the past five seasons. These predictions are pure hype and crap.

  16. This is nothing new. Every year it seems like we're supposed to finish last in the division according to the so called experts. And every year it doesn't happen.

  17. The +650 line is the Steelers odds of winning the AFC North. So if we bet that, we’d have to feel at least somewhat confident that the Steelers could win the division. I don’t know if I do, but I’d definitely bet we don’t finish last

  18. Not speaking on a gambling perspective, but just what I've seen in various comments sections over the past few years, I'm thoroughly convinced that Bengals, Browns, and Ravens fans want the Steelers to be bad more than they want their own team to be good. The infatuation is incredible.

  19. With a +650 odds you would have bet and win big with the Steelers being afc champs to win enough to buy a house. Lol Better investing in a great stock fund.

  20. Steelers do start with a really tough week 1 game in which I think they will lose. I think Steelers get the win in week 2, but if they do lose this game and start 0-2, I might have to agree with last

  21. I can see the Steelers with a winning record. Also finishing in second place is very good possibility.

  22. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  23. If the Steelers suck this year, Shao Khan needs to drop the hammer on Mike and Matt

  24. I wonder when these odds were established? Before free agency? Before the draft? Before the schedule release? Seems to me like those are things that could go into determining how a team will fare in the upcoming season.

  25. Since the 02 re-alignment into the AFC NORTH, no team has won the division 3 times in a row. These odds makers don’t know the division… nor the competition and it’s history.
