  1. Rich Eisen is too much of a fanboy for Michigan to report this story in an unbiased way.
Honestly, most college coaches don’t do well in the NFL. Also, most new NFL coaches don’t do well, even if they were assistant coaches in the NFL.
    It’s a completely different animal.

  2. Eventually Myers will prove he belongs in the NFL * He needs to regroup a little to make adjustments that eliminates some of the mistakes that he made with the Jaguars * The biggest mistake he made was accepting that job * Jaguars just wasn’t a good fit from the very beginning * The next NFL team that calls him needs to offer part ownership * Let’s face it Jags has always been a rest stop for players and coaches * Myers will need five years to gradually build the team he wants * Then you can expect a run of playoff and Super Bowl appearances *

  3. Not sure we should send him back to college if he likes to kick players and embarrass his colleagues. No one deserves that at any level of competition.

  4. It's really amazing the Jags won 2 games with this clown. Would this roster be a .500 team with competent coaching?

  5. You knew there was something not right with Urban but DAMN I didn't know he was a dumpster fire!

  6. His tenure was absolutely laughable. How can u coach 13 games and be considered the worst NFL coach of all time lmao 🤣

  7. I hope he doesn't ever get a job as a coach again, no excuse for attacking players cause they aren't up to snuff

  8. He felt up one chick we are aware of, now he kicks a grown man / teammate. . . Why are we shocked. No telling how he treats his family.

  9. Oh, so it's not that hard to win in the NCAA when you go to a program that's loaded??? Gee I never knew that. I thought he was just a good coach.

  10. Just go back to what he did to, and how he left Florida, and you'll get an idea of who this guy really is … and THAT, from a Florida State grad …

  11. Great summary. Hope he doesn’t go back to the college game where young athletes have little choice but to put up with his bad behavior, especially when enabled by University leaders (?) who look the other way. Sigh.

  12. Urb has been a garbage human being and coach at EVERY stop in his resume. He finally got what he deserved all along.

  13. A college coach that acts as a tyrant among "professional" footballers is never going to work out.

  14. Urban has never been a good coach… most coaches in college and pro sports are not good. Why is this surprising to people? But… let's not forget that the Jaguars are a bad team at every position and that is not going to change any time soon.

  15. As far as football goes, the Jaguars players, including the Quarterback of the future, are mostly responsible for the Jags piss poor season. The Coach is always the fall guy for failure like that…even though other reasons are ostensibly identified.

  16. Urban Meyer is a classic example of how winning will cover up dirty laundry.

  17. Jacksonville has never ever had a good or even an okay season since its founding and yet it's all Meyer's fault. Yea, you bet.

  18. Just imagine all of the young talented college athletes that may have missed their chance at an NFL career because of Urban's narcissistic nasty attitude and lack of ability to coach and connect with his team and be an honorable leader. He can't even stay honorable to his wife and family, why would he do that for a football team. He's a disgrace to all !!!

  19. The coach was obviously not a good guy. But are the team any good? I don't think Trevor had a good season. I know he's a rookie but he's the centre of the team. Also this story reminds me of the film varsity blues.

  20. You can enjoy his failure now but he never failed against Jim Harbaugh and that pisses you off. 😉 😜 😀 Hence the peanut gallery loving Urbans 1 failure. lol

  21. Rich, your affectations are becoming excessive. Please tone it down. It's about the information, not the dramatic pauses and speech rhythms.

  22. At some point he realized he was in WAAAAAAAY over his head in the NFL and sabotaged himself

  23. That's the way management works for most jobs as well. Urban Meyer treats people like crap in an organization but because they're successful nothing happens to them. Urban Meyers treats people like crap but the Organization is a failure something actually happens. It's amazing how horrible people become when they're given power as well. I think the whole work force in every country needs a new evaluation, and approach.

  24. Shouldn't work like that in college as well. These type of coaches need to be flushed out of college football as well. Players need to be protected for not only mental health and human rights, but for their potential futures.

  25. Do you really think his behavior would be a story if he had been winning this year? I doubt it.
