  1. We had such a deep team. So much effort was focused on depth, so we can get through periods of injuries and then this… We play with 5 injured guys and screw the pooch. WTF..

  2. Honestly it’s starting to feel like this is just what happens when you let the inmates run the asylum. It feels like Montgomery let the players make their own decisions all year long, to the point where it set them up for failure. I can’t think of any other reason why you would have “just found out” that your foot was broken. If you let these guys play they will play 100% of the time. At a certain point the coach has to step in and be the coach, and tell them no means no for the benefit of the TEAM. It increasingly feels as if this coaching staff was afraid to exercise that authority in exchange for walking on eggshells as not to hurt the players feelings.
