The whole "well if they were just on a BETTER TEAM blahblahblah" argument I think is fucking bullshit. Because for 1 the other good teammates will secure points away from you and for 2 the ice time is more evenly divided.
Case in point = Vrana.
Case in point = Mantha.
That being said, I think we're in a lot of fucking trouble if Stevie can't make some magic happen for a majority of these roster spots in the next 4 years

Berggren Veleno Raymond top line in G.R. next season.
The stick should be viewed as a weapon and should only be used to pokecheck or shoot the puck. No slashings, crosscheckings, trips, hookings, or anything else. It's insane to me that there's so many examples of penalties not called in this league. The game can still be hard and checking is still a thing but giving a vunerable player a crosscheck in the neck migth aswell be assault. How many crosschecks can you give in front of your net before you get a penalty? 5-6 maybe. It should be one.
Berggren should be a red wing. Not in Grand Rapids

Would Ken Holland make a play to Bernier? EDM needs a goalie better than Koskinen and Mike Smith is ready for his retirement checks.
Should we sign Nick Foligno? Because he had the balls to go after whoever hurt his captain – intentional or accidental.
Kadri got 8 games because he is Kadri. He gets suspended in the playoffs pretty much every year. He has a big halo on his head for DoPS to keep an eye on him.
Yzerman is smart to keep Blashill around.
Because Blashill is the ultimate scapegoat. Record is bad? Oh it is the coach. Player not developing? Oh it is the coach. Veleno not playing? Oh it is the coach.
Blashill is essentially the father of all failure/evil.
I'm a Red Sox, Patriiots, Celtics, and Red Wings fan. I'd say the obnoxious fans are the younger generation who have never know sports failure like I do. But give Boston fans credit they do root for the laundry.
I didn't like the Foligno/Perry fight. That being said, I truly believe Foligno was just trying to snap his teammates out of the heart attack they just had. They still had a Stanley Cup Playoff game to play. So I get it. I didn't like it, but I get it.
PK was horrid for most of the year. But their PK unit was top 5 in the last 18 games I believe.
I'd like to know what depth chart Brad is looking at that lists Fabbri as right wing. Everything I've seen has as a left wing or center.
